The Mosasaur was a giant marine reptile that lived during the late Cretaceous period (about 80 MYA) and could grow to as large as 57 ft! It was probably an ambush predator as well as the apex predator of it’s time. Furthermore, it was known to be a bit of a rake, with it’s dapper fashion sense and it’s propensity for committing nefarious deeds and hatching sinister plots.
